Reiki symbols are gateways that can activate Universal Life Force Energy to manifestation. With the symbol known and practiced, you will experience a spiritually developed and balanced life.
Background Knowledge of Reiki Symbols
In Reiki practices, Reiki symbols must be known adequately before being practiced. However, the symbols are regarded as sacred and confidential, which are meant to be understood by those who wants to go deep into the practice of Reiki to degree 2 and 3.
The symbols originated from Japanese Kanji, a word from the language of Japanese. In degree two of Reiki practice, three symbols were only given to the students, which are Cho Ku Rei known as the power symbol, Sei He Ki which is the emotional and mental healing symbol, and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, which is the distance healing symbol.
With the Reiki symbol, the practice can be done in advance, which will equip the practitioner to utilize Reiki’s energy for a distinct objective. The symbols create a kind of alertness in the mind and body, thereby changing the functionality of Reiki. Reiki symbols can be visualized, mentioned their names loudly, or draw them. The most important thing is to be intentional in the activation process.

Reiki Attunement
Reiki Attunement: The importance attached to it.
Attunement is seen as a core aspect of Reiki. It is an initiation that helps assign power to the symbols to achieve their purpose. Before anyone can be initiated, the symbols are shown, and they will be given ample time for memorization. When the attunement is being carried out, the energy in the symbol will penetrate those being initiated minds, connecting them with the symbols. For those initiated into Reiki, the symbols are placed in their aura. This process is also essential because when the symbol is called after the attunement, the invoked energy will be activated, resulting in energy flow.
How Reiki signals are used.
The symbols of Reiki can be invoked by drawing it with the hand into the air, visualizing it in mind, mentioning the name out loud, or just thinking about the symbol. Some practitioners deep into the practice don’t need to do all mentioned. They get activated automatically whenever the need arises.
In drawing Reiki symbols, there is no one-size-fits-all on how it’s been drawn. Reiki master symbols are drawn separately. However, this does not affect the energy produced for it. The main thing required is the intention when it’s being invoked.
